cheltenham badlands

Yesterday I went for a hike near the Cheltenham Badlands, just northwest of Toronto. It looked like it was going to be a nice sunny day, but as we moved out of the city, the clouds came around. I actually wasn't too disappointed about this as I sometimes I prefer the drama of clouds to clear blue sky in photos, although I may have been the only one feeling this way...

The hike we took was suggested by TorontoHiking.com. It started off at the badlands and then took us along some country roads and paths for around 10km or so. A few kilometers in, we came across some old dilapidated houses which of course I had fun photographing - but I will save those photos for later this week!
